Backyard and untraditional weddings are common these days - I am here to problem-solve and bring your unique ideas to life.

My planning process is designed to work through the "to-do" list together. Every 2-4 weeks we will meet and cover Vendors, Design, Layout, Timeline, Logistics, & Personal Touches to bring your day to life.

At the core of my planning is a joy for the not only the Wedding Day but for the planning process. I want to support you as a built-in planning best friend and lift the stress off your shoulders. I love to put each detail into place and make your wedding day the best it can be.
How it all began
I've been dreaming about weddings since I was 8. Not only planning my own wedding but being able to bring visions to life. It all started with "The Wedding Planner's Daughter" a children's fiction book that truly inspired me.

I began planning themed weddings - scrapbook style. A tropical dinner cruise, a classy garden retreat, and more.
​
This tiny seed of a dream grew into planning fundraisers, parties, and a gala. I took an internship one summer in college to work for a wedding venue and cherished getting to witness life changing love daily.
​
After college, I was engaged and planning my own wedding - we opted for a backyard wedding - and as with a background in planning weddings I was able to experience firsthand the stress that comes in engagement. The to-do list that seems never-ending and organizing not only a wedding but two lives becoming one.

I then began helping friends and their friends through this planning journey and it just kept growing. That small seed has now blossomed into Grace Lee Events. A Wedding Planning business servicing brides nationwide - from Arizona to Maine. The goal has stayed the same: Provide Brides with the support they need to bring their vision to life and bring joy into the planning process.
